DANCE FROM YOUR HEART

SARAH RADABAUGH - INSTRUCTOR

FORMER STUDENTS

"You can't go wrong putting your children in the hands of Sarah Radabaugh.  Her choreography inspired me to begin dancing at the age of 14 and she was a strong voice of encouragement in high school while I worked hard to catch up to the technical ability of my peers.  She understands the different levels, abilities, and potentials within each of her students. Even after graduating and moving to college dance and now being in a professional company she is always a solid rock of support"

-Colleen Weiher, former student, professional dancer with Inlet Dance Theater

"Being my first teacher and studying under her for 8 years, Miss Sarah has taught me a good foundation of ballet and modern dance. I always enjoyed the fact that she pushed dance more as an art than a competitive sport. However, she also encouraged her dancers to be strong...inside and out. Students who take her class will really learn to come out of their shells and express themselves artistically. Still dancing in college today, I would never have gotten here without her!"

-Anna Makar, former student

"The first thing that comes to mind when I think of dance is the years I spent in a studio learning how to move by Miss Sarah.  She fueled my passion for dance since I was young and helped me realize my dream of being a dance teacher myself. One of my favorite memories is finding out you can dance to anything especially dancing ballet to a Metallica song.  I am proud to be a supporter of her new studio and can't wait to see all of the amazing things that are sure to come!"

-Jessica Worley, former student

Defying Gravity Dance Studio's main focus is to teach dance as an art form. Dancers will learn technique as well as dance vocabulary. We aim to make dance fun and educational.

With a variety of dance styles and classes we hope that everyone can find what they are looking for. With small classes we can tailor the class to fit the dancers. There will also be personalized attention for the students. We want dancers to feel as if they are not only stronger dancers but stronger people as well.
